Nick Khan Advancing WWE’s Strategy with New Short-Form Content Deals

Recent years have brought significant changes to WWE’s leadership, with Triple H assuming the role of Head of Creative and Nick Khan serving as President. In fact, it appears Nick Khan is securing short-form content deals for WWE.

Nick Khan joined WWE in August 2020 following a distinguished career at ICM and CAA spanning nearly 15 years. Since his arrival, Khan has played a pivotal role in elevating WWE through various strategic business deals and navigating the television market and Triple H acknowledges Khan as a genius.

During the TKO investors call, TKO President Mark Shapiro praised Triple H for his creative contributions to WWE. Shapiro pointed out Levesque’s significant role in overseeing multiple WWE programs, including SmackDown, Raw, and NXT.

Mark Shapiro also mentioned that Nick Khan is actively working on securing additional deals, particularly for short-form content, with announcements expected in the future.

“The creativity of Paul Levesque on the WWE side. That’s a tall order. He has a Friday night show [SmackDown], a Monday night show [Raw], NXT. We’re talking with other content providers on more short-form content, a bunch of deals that Nick Khan is currently working on and we’ll announce in due time.”

Nick Khan was also present at Fanatics CEO’s Michael Rubin’s 4th of July celebration last month, where he built more connections. Nick Khan is also spearheading WWE’s current collaborations with other promotions outside the company and is largely responsible for the lucrative deals WWE has been able to secure over the years, so we’ll have to see how WWE will continue to grow thanks to Nick Khan.
