Adam Pearce Addresses Potentially Wrestling a Match in WWE

Adam Pearce made a name for himself by competing in various pro wrestling promotions in the world before joining WWE but he has his fair share of haters as well. With that said, he has now addressed potentially wrestling another match in WWE.

Adam Pearce has not been a full-time wrestler since 2014, though he has participated in a few storyline matches for WWE since then. While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Adam Pearce was asked about potentially wrestling a proper match in WWE.

Pearce clarified that while he is physically capable of wrestling, he has no desire to return to the ring. He noted that his last professional match was on December 21, 2014, marking nearly a decade since he has been actively wrestling.

“I don’t want to [wrestle.] I appreciate that though. I’ve been done for 10 years. December 21 of this year will be 10 years to the day I had my last pro match.”

There has been speculation among fans about a potential match between Pearce and Nick Aldis, the SmackDown General Manager who is also a former NWA Worlds Champion. Pearce acknowledged that there is “something there” regarding a possible bout with Aldis but expressed skepticism about it happening in WWE. He and Aldis are both content with their current roles in WWE and are not seeking a spotlight-focused angle.

“I think neither one of us neither Nick and I are ever going to angle for a position in the spotlight like that. I think we’re both content very happy and very honored to have the positions we have currently in WWE.”

Nevertheless, Adam Pearce is more than happy being the RAW General Manager and since he clearly excels in the role, fans are also content with him as an on-screen character.
