Wes Lee ended Week 2 of NXT Great American Bash with a huge shocker that saw him betray his MSK cohorts, Trey Miguel and Zachary Wentz and laid them both out with a vicious beatdown.

Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz were scheduled to battle Nathan Frazer and Axiom for their NXT Tag Team Championships in the main event of the show. The action was jam-packed and was classic display of stellar tag team wrestling.

But in the end, it was double team move to Wes Lee by the champions, Frazer and Axiom, that led to them retaining their tag titles. As The Rascalz attempted to comfort Wes Lee regarding the loss, he unleashed a heinous beatdown on both Miguel and Wentz and left them physically battered to close the show.

Following the event, NXT GM Ava questioned Wes Lee’s motive regarding the attack. The former NXT North American Champion took to his X to drop a GIF with a text that seemingly explained his actions.
