Dr. Carlon Colker Denies Misconduct in Janel Grant Treatment After Peak Wellness Records Petition

Vince McMahon is facing serious allegations from Janel Grant, who has filed a lawsuit against WWE, John Laurinaitis, and McMahon himself. The allegations include sexual assault, emotional abuse, and sex trafficking dating back to March 2019. Recently, Grant requested records from a wellness doctor, and a judge has denied McMahon’s attempt to block this request. Dr. Carlon Colker, the wellness doctor involved, has denied any wrongdoing in his treatment of Janel Grant.

Janel Grant previously filed pre-action discovery petition seeking records from Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc. Grant alleges that under Vince McMahon’s direction in November 2019, she received undisclosed treatments, including pills and IV infusions, at the clinic. When she asked about the substances, Dr. Colker reportedly questioned her trust in him.

According to Brandon Thurston, Dr. Carlon Colker has filed for discovery against Janel Grant, denying any improper treatment and alleging damage to his reputation from her accusations.

Colker claims that Grant’s actions are part of a “smear campaign” aimed at supporting her allegations against WWE, Vince McMahon, and John Laurinaitis. He asserts that he ‘always advised and consulted in advance with Grant concerning any specific medications she was prescribed. Grant baselessly accuses Plaintiffs of failing to provide her with a Private Policy and itemization of any bills, despite the undisputable documented evidence to the contrary, including that Grant expressly signed and acknowledged receipt of Plaintiffs’ privacy policy, which are in Grant’s possession along with the entirety of her electronic medical record and metadata.”

In response, Grant’s attorney, Ann Callis, stated that the court ruled in Grant’s favor, allowing her to obtain her medical records from Colker. Callis criticized Colker’s filing as an attack on Grant and described it as consistent with his behavior.

”The court sided with Janel and against McMahon in confirming she was within her right to seek her own medical records and data from Dr. Carlon Colker of Peak Wellness. It is perplexing, but on brand to file an attack against a woman formerly in his care.”

Judge Jeffrey Meyer recently ruled against McMahon’s attempt to block the petition for these records and Vince McMahon’s attorney has already released a statement regarding the denial. Regardless, it remains to be seen how the lawsuit will progress as there are many elements to it.
