During a recent AEW Dynamite episode, MJF, known for his heel persona, was unexpectedly punched by a kid from the audience. This incident quickly gained attention online, and Dax Harwood has revealed that he played a role in making the moment go viral.

As seen during the 250th episode of AEW Dynamite, MJF and Will Ospreay delivered a thrilling match that had the crowd on their feet. MJF employed a variety of holds to dominate Ospreay and it was definitely a fast-paced bout from start to finish.

Ospreay, despite battling through a shoulder injury, continued to fight valiantly, earning chants of “Fight Forever” from the fans. The action intensified beyond the ring, with MJF’s antics provoking disapproval from the audience. The situation took an unexpected turn when a young fan hit MJF as Ospreay kept MJF restrained.

While speaking in an interview with Military News, Dax Harwood talked about a surprising moment in AEW. He mentioned a recent match between MJF and Will Ospreay where they fought in the crowd. During the fight, Ospreay held MJF’s arms, and an 11-year-old girl punched MJF in the chest.

Harwood said he immediately contacted Tony Khan and the social media team, asking them to make the clip go viral. He highlighted that moments like these make AEW unique and show why it stands out from other wrestling companies.

“My favorite unpredictable moment was and I immediately texted Tony (Khan the owner of AEW) and I texted our social media team when I saw it and said, we need to make this clip go viral. It was recently with the match of MJF and Will Ospreay. They fought in the crowd and Will held MJF’s arms back and a little 11 year old girl punched MJF right in his chest. Things like that is what defines AEW because that’s the alternative that we offer. That’s not something that I think you will see in other companies.”

The little girl would then get interviewed by ABC7 News, where it was revealed that Will Ospreay gave her t-shirt after what she did to MJF and the Salt of the Earth made it clear he hated how fans cheered for the girl while she attacked him. Regardless, MJF won the match and became the AEW American Champion, so he is more focused on that now than the little girl.
