AEW Star Keith Lee Mourns The Loss of His Best Friend

Keith Lee was once perceived to be a promising athlete in WWE after his major success in NXT. However, his main roster, which was run as “Bearcat,” Keith Lee, failed to resonate with the audience, and he was eventually released in 2021.

Following his release, Lee made his surprise debut in AEW in 2022 and was expected to be a prime fixture for Tony Khan’s company. However, he has not been seen for an extended period and was reported to have undergone double surgeries for injuries in January 2024.

Amidst his absence from the ring, Keith Lee took to his X to reveal that his best friend, who he had known for twenty-six years, had left for heavenly abode. Lee’s words were indicative of the loss, but he still hoped for positivity in the lives of others.

“26 year best friendship. Gone. And now, I have to find a way to forward march. Rest in Power brudda. This realm…. it is quite rough. I am hopeful for positivity in the rest of your lives.”
