WWE NXT August 6, 2024 Preview: Confirmed Matches, Start Time and How to Watch

The August 6th edition of WWE NXT is set to be an action-packed night, addressing the aftermath of last week’s events while setting the stage for future storylines. Fans can catch all the excitement live from the Capitol Wrestling Center in Orlando, FL, at 8 PM Eastern on Syfy.

During Week 1 of the NXT Great American Bash, Joe Hendry made his debut with an in-ring concert, which was interrupted by Gallus. The interruption led to an attack on Hendry, setting up a match for this week where Hendry will face Joe Coffey of Gallus in a singles bout.

Two weeks ago, Pete Dunne attacked Trick Williams following Williams’ match against Cedric Alexander. Last week, Dunne cut a promo stating that people had forgotten who the Bruiserweight is and challenged Trick Williams to a singles match.

During NXT Great American Bash week 2, Axiom and Nathan Frazer will be defending their NXT Tag Team Championship against Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz of MSK. Additionally, Kelani Jordan will defend her NXT Women’s North American Championship against Tatum Paxley in a singles match.

Kendal Grey will face Wren Sinclar in singles competition as well. Oro Mensah is set to challenge Ethan Page for the NXT Championship in a singles match this week after weeks of buildup.
