Wes Lee Attacks The Rascalz After Failing to Win Tag Team Titles on 8/6 WWE NXT Great American Bash

The compelling and exciting NXT tag team title reign of Nathan Frazer and Axiom was challenged by the reuniting and revamped popularity of MSK, comprising TNA’s Rascalz and top NXT star Wes Lee, after a few encounters backstage seen in recent weeks.

The NXT tag team champions, Frazer and Axiom, were set to defend their gold against Wes Lee and Zachary Wentz on Week Two of NXT Great American Bash, taking place inside the Capitol Wrestling Centre.

Both teams demonstrated a highly exciting and jam-packed display of tag team wrestling that had the fans glued to their seats in one of the opening contests for the special event. However, the night ended in a major shocker as Wes Lee attacked both members of The Rascalz, shouting, “You left me alone,” and ending the show with Zachary Wentz and Trey Miguel beaten down by Wes Lee and the former NXT North American Champion walking away alone.
