WWE’s NXT brand has recently welcomed a multitude of TNA Wrestling talent. This partnership is advantageous for both brands, and fans are also benefiting. Joe Hendry has received a significant focus, but he may be saying goodbye this week.

During last week’s episode of NXT, Joe Hendry performed in a concert that included a song about burying Gallus. Many fans still have that song stuck in their heads, where he mentioned that the trio got deported for having bad facial hair. He will be present for NXT this week as well.

It was reported on Fightful Select that Joe Hendry’s promo this week is expected to be more of a goodbye to the NXT Arena. It’s also not been rehearsed in full. On that note, there is no actual word that Hendry is done with NXT at this point.

“Joe Hendry is set for a promo tonight, and is expected to be a ‘goodbye’ promo, however it was not fully rehearsed. We haven’t heard if Hendry is finishing up his run in NXT or not, but we are told Hendry has recently scaled back his work with his own promotion, Discovery Wrestling.”

Joe Hendry has made it very clear that his time in TNA Wrestling is not over by a long shot either. He still has a good amount of time on his contract, but the company is obviously okay with him making these NXT visits. On a related note, Hendry will also make his House of Glory Wrestling debut soon.

Also, Josh Alexander is reportedly on his way to NXT. The Walking Weapon’s debut for the black and gold brand could come as early as tonight.

We will have full coverage of the August 6 episode of NXT right here at Ringside News. Joe Hendry is on quite a roll, and this week will likely only add to that.
