Odyssey Jones, a standout talent from NXT 2.0 known for his charisma and potential, was anticipated to achieve great things following his call-up to the WWE main roster. However, his progress stalled for over a year. Thankfully, his fortunes changed after his impressive debut on RAW this week. Jones has since shared his reaction to this significant moment in his career.
In the ongoing feud with Karrion Kross and his faction, The Final Testament, Kofi Kingston was sidelined with an injury on RAW weeks ago, leaving Xavier Woods to face the faction alone.
On the August 5 episode of Monday Night RAW, Kofi Kingston made a dramatic return to team up with Xavier Woods against The Final Testament’s Akam and Rezar. Despite a competitive match, a distraction from Karrion Kross allowed Rezar to pin Woods for the win, while Kofi was incapacitated outside the ring.
With The New Day outnumbered, Odyssey Jones, who had been drafted to RAW the previous year, finally made his debut. He made a strong impact by taking down The Final Testament, including a powerful slam where he held both AOP members at the same time. Jones then aligned himself with Kofi and Xavier, bolstering their side with his impressive presence.
Odyssey Jones took to Twitter and reacted to his impressive debut, as Jones made it clear he felt great that he was able to help The New Day on Monday Night RAW last night.
”Feeling great that I got a chance to help out some legends last night. #GodisGood”
WWE Hall of Famer X-Pac also made an insane claim about Odyssey Jones’ strength. We’ll have to see how Odyssey Jones is utilized on WWE television in the coming weeks, as his debut has shown off his impressive strength and potential.
