The two-week special event of NXT on Syfy, Great American Bash, culminated with some enthralling matches and moments featuring top-tier talent from NXT and also TNA, setting the tone for the festivities next week when the Black and Gold brand returns to its original home, USA Network.

As the fans saw during the backstage party celebrations on Week Two of NXT Great American Bash, things escalated between heated rivals Eddy Thorpe and Lexis King. Next week, both men will collide against each other in a one-on-one showdown.

Also witnessed on tonight’s show, Wren Sinclair managed to defeat Kendal Grey in a singles bout. As part of an agreement made earlier, Charlie Dempsey now has earned a shot against Tony D’Angelo for the NXT Heritage Cup, while Sinclair has officially become a member of Dempsey’s faction, No Quarter Catch Crew.

Additionally, Oba Femi announced that he would be defending his NXT North American title next week. However, as he was about to announce his opponent, his interview was interrupted by Tony D’Angelo and his faction, leaving it a mystery to be unfolded on the next edition of NXT.
