MJF has been involved in a fierce rivalry with Will Ospreay over the AEW International Championship. Their intense match on the July 24 episode of AEW Dynamite saw MJF secure a narrow victory in the final seconds.

In a bold move, MJF unveiled a new American Championship design and discarded the International Title the next week to symbolize his disregard for its international legacy. The crowd’s support for Ospreay surged when he interrupted MJF’s celebration, setting the stage for a rematch at AEW All-In.

Amidst the rising tension, MJF was announced to battle Will Ospreay’s best friend, Kyle Fletcher, on the upcoming edition of AEW Dynamite. However, The Salt of the Earth took to his X to announce that all flights to North Carolina, the sight of the show, had been cancelled in a berating jab to the city.

However, recognizing his obligation as the self-proclaimed ‘American Hero’, MJF revealed that he decided to drive for 10.5 hours to reach the venue in his bid to give Will Ospreay a preview of their upcoming title match at AEW All In.

“All flights to North Carolina have been cancelled, most likely because no one in their right mind would ever want to go to that garbage state (not my America). But since I am an American Hero and I have an obligation to my country to kick Kyle Fletcher’s ass, I am currently driving 10.5 hours to give Will Ospreay a preview of Wembley. #ThankMeLater.”

As the feud escalates, it remains to be seen whether MJF will retain his title or if The Aerial Assasin, Ospreay, will reclaim it at All In. For now, it will be interesting to see a preview of the match as MJF would step in the ring with Kyle Fletcher on Dynamite.
