Ludwig Kaiser gained prominence as a member of Imperium but he was on a hot streak as singles and now it appears he believes his tag team split from Giovanni Vinci was essential.
Alongside Ludwig Kaiser and Giovanni Vinci, GUNTHER used to strike fear into the hearts of his foes as the leader of Imperium. Vinci was then kicked out of the faction earlier this year.
In an interview with Sporx, Kaiser talked about Vinci’s departure from Imperium, stating that it was necessary for his own career growth. He mentioned that Vinci had a larger role within the team, but the change was essential for him to focus on his own development.
Kaiser emphasized that wrestling often involves compromises within a team, which can limit individual opportunities. He expressed his determination to make a significant name for himself in WWE, partly driven by his father’s legacy. Kaiser noted that his stock has risen considerably in just a few weeks since the change.
“Yes, it was even sorely needed. He had more of the team than I did. It was kept below, because you want to see more of me in the next few years. I have to concentrate on myself, that’s the way it is in wrestling. There is always a compromise in a team. You can never do what you want. I was always convinced that I would do everything to become a big name in WWE. Even in view of my father’s legacy, it was important for me to do my thing alone. You also saw it immediately. Within a few weeks, my stock has risen extremely.”
Ludwig Kaiser made his return during the August 5th edition of Monday Night RAW after a rib injury but ultimately lost to Sheamus. Regardless, it’s certain he will compete at WWE Bash in Berlin, so we’ll have to see what WWE will have planned for him this month.
