Joe Hendry Hopes For a Guitar-Off with The Rock

Several TNA stars have been making an impact in the business lately, with Joe Hendry being a notable standout. His appearances on NXT television significantly boosted his reputation and it appears Hendry hopes for a guitar-off with The Rock.

TNA star Joe Hendry has been making waves with his involvement in the crossover between NXT and TNA. Recently, he performed live concert on the July 30th episode of NXT, pointing out the ongoing collaboration between the two wrestling promotions. Despite a brief interruption by Gallus, the segment received widespread praise from fans, with some even comparing it to The Rock’s famous concert performances.

While speaking in a recent interview with The Wrestling Matt, Hendry expressed a sense of anticipation about possibly crossing paths with The Rock in the future. He acknowledged the high regard for The Rock’s concert segment in Toronto and appreciated the positive comparisons.

Hendry hinted at the possibility of a future “guitar-off” between himself and The Rock, though he also noted that he feels a meeting between them is inevitable. According to Hendry, The Rock’s segment remains the top concert performance in his eyes.

“I don’t know if anything’s gonna top that Rock concert in Toronto from The Rock. I appreciate the kind words. Maybe one day we’ll see a guitar-off between myself and The Great One, who knows? We’ve already had me versus Elias. But I’ve just got a feeling me and The Rock are gonna have to cross paths at some point. To me, he’s still got the number one concert segment.”

Joe Coffey is set to square off against Joe Hendry in a singles match during NXT Great American Bash Week 2, so we’ll have to wait and see if Hendry will be able to get some measure of revenge this week.
