The SummerSlam Premium Live Event saw a ton of betrayals as both Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest were betrayed in a big way. It all came to a head on RAW this week and after the events of the show, Priest vowed to rain pain on the fake Judgment Day.
After Dominik Mysterio and Finn Balor turned on Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest at WWE SummerSlam, Balor introduced his new version of the Judgment Day on the August 5 episode of WWE Raw. This new group attacked Priest, but Ripley came to the rescue. Priest and Ripley ended the segment standing strong, signaling the end of the Judgment Day as fans had known it.
In a Raw Exclusive, Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley were asked to share their thoughts on the situation. Priest remarked that while the new group may call themselves the Judgment Day, they are not the authentic Judgment Day. He stated that Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest are the true Judgment Day, dismissing the new faction as irrelevant.
”They can call themselves the Judgment Day, but that wack ass group is not the Judgment Day. Rhea Ripley and Damian Priest are the Judgment Day, not those clowns.”
Ripley agreed, emphasizing that the new group’s attempt to claim the Judgment Day name was misguided. She pointed out their status as the original members and warned that they would not be prepared for the level of violence they were about to face.
”Exactly. They think that they can come in here and try and claim something that was never theirs to begin with. Were the O.Gs for a reason. After all this bloody betrayal, I don’t think they’re actually ready for the brutality that we’re going to hand them.”
Priest added that the new group is unaware of true pain, and promised that they would make them experience it firsthand.
”They think they know pain. They don’t know a damn thing yet. We’re gonna make it rain pain.
We will have to wait and see how Damian Priest and Rhea Ripley will get their revenge on the new Judgment Day and systematically dismantle each and eery single member in the coming weeks.
