Dr Britt Baker, D.M.D, who made a surprise return at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door after a year-long hiatus, had been suspended following a backstage confrontation with MJF. The conflict began when Baker made comments about MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout, leading to a heated argument.

Despite the HR investigation and her brief suspension, Baker continued to appear on TV. Moreover, a report stated that Baker’s suspension was mentioned on AEW Dynamite last week to add more heat to Mercedes Mone’s storyline and upcoming match at All In for the TBS Championship and would possibly carry forward with Baker’s return to television this week.

However, amidst her suspension, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Britt Baker will appear in season six of Cobra Kai, which premieres on Netflix on November 15. Baker will be part of the team competing in the “Sekai Taikai” international karate tournament in the show.

The first half of the season, leading up to the tournament, is currently streaming on Netflix. Notably, Martin Kove, who portrays John Kreese, appeared on the February 16, 2022, episode of AEW Dynamite to offer advice to Baker.

On the other hand, with AEW All In set for August 25th at Wembley Stadium, Britt Baker’s return this week will further build her storyline with Mercedes Mone heading into the pay-per-view. Fans will have to wait and see how AEW continues to develop their feud in the coming weeks.
