Vince McMahon ruled over WWE with an iron fist for several years but he is currently dealing with a sexual trafficking lawsuit. During his time in WWE, many were intimidated by him and it appears a former WWE personality regrets not standing up to McMahon.

Jonathan Coachman, who last worked with WWE in 2018, has openly discussed his experiences and challenges with Vince McMahon. In an interview with Bill Apter from Sportskeeda, Coachman initially hesitated to discuss McMahon but eventually reflected on the time he spent with the former WWE Chairman and the lessons he learned from him.

Coachman admitted he prefers not to comment on McMahon in 2024, acknowledging that his interactions with McMahon were significant and that he absorbed valuable insights into wrestling during that period.

“I don’t really have any thoughts about him [Vince McMahon] in 2024 to be honest with you. I don’t like to comment on him because, at one point, I was around him a lot, and I took a lot from what he taught us.”

Despite the positive aspects of his time with McMahon, including learning about timing, emphasis, storytelling, and the intense demands of the industry, Coachman expressed regret over not voicing his concerns or standing up against McMahon. He pointed out that during his first decade-long stint with WWE, he only missed one RAW taping, which he now views with some regret, particularly regarding the inability to advocate for himself and others.

“Oh, the positive stuff is learning how the red light comes on, timing, emphasis, storytelling, and all of that kind of makes high-level pro wrestling what it is. And also the grind. We were forced into the grind, and in my first ten-year run, I only missed one Monday night. I look back on it now, and there are a lot of regrets as far as things I missed because we couldn’t stand up for ourselves.”

We had previously reported that lawyers for former WWE employee Janel Grant have filed pre-action discovery petition against Dr. Carlon Colker and his clinic, Peak Wellness, Inc and the trafficking lawsuit is currently on hold pending federal investigation. Regardless, Jonathan Coachman will always have regrets about his relationship with Vince McMahon and that’s unlikely to change.
