WWE is broadening its collaborations with other promotions, as seen with its partnership with Pro Wrestling NOAH. It was confirmed that Josh Briggs would compete in NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament, and it appears he had a successful debut match.

Josh Briggs made his debut at NOAH’s N-1 Victory tournament on August 4th at the Yokohama Budokan, where he faced off against Ryohei Oiwa during the first day of the tournament.

Josh Briggs had control throughout the match as he was the bigger competitor and he was able to display a level of dominance that NOAH fans were certainly intrigued by. Briggs would ultimately pick up the win by nailing a nasty lariat to Oiwa, as Briggs began the tournament in the best way imaginable.

While Josh Briggs was successful in his NOAH debut, Tavion Heights wasn’t as lucky since he lost to Titus Alexander. Regardless, fans were impressed by Josh Brigg’s performance in his NOAH in-ring debut, so we’ll have to see how he will carry forward with the momentum in the tournament.
