Trish Stratus Contemplating WWE Comeback

WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus took part in an extended program against Becky Lynch earlier last year and she hasn’t competed in a match for a long time now. With that said, Stratus has now revealed the condition for making her WWE return.

Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus’ feud took over WWE television for several months and it ended at WWE Payback, where they faced off against each other in steel cage match. Stratus would lose the match, which ended up being the last match of her run with the company as an in-ring competitor for the time being.

At WWE Money in the Bank 2024, Trish Stratus made a surprise appearance as the event’s host. During the show, she introduced John Cena, who announced his upcoming retirement tour. Stratus also experienced some backstage tension with Tiffany Stratton following Stratton’s win at the Money in the Bank event.

In a recent interview with Sports Illustrated, Stratus talked about the possibility of a WWE return. She mentioned that if there is significant fan interest and she can have a positive impact on a new generation, she would be open to returning.

Trish Stratus expressed that she enjoyed her role as a special guest in Toronto and would consider continuing in WWE if she felt she could contribute effectively and inspire fans.

“Cody isn’t the only one with an unfinished story,” said Stratus. “I loved being back as a special guest in Toronto at Money in the Bank. And who knows, if I can still go, I’ll still keep going. I’ll never half-ass it. If fans are interested and it can influence another generation, then we’ll see.”

Trish Stratus also addressed possibly squaring off against Tiffany Stratton somewhere down the line. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether Stratus will return to WWE for an extended program in the future, as fans would love to see that happen.
