WWE’s NXT brand and TNA Wrestling are now sharing talent, and this is great news for more than just Joe Hendry. They had to approach this deal in a creative way, but the most important aspect is how beneficial it is for everyone involved.

WWE NXT will debut on the CW on October 1st. Only time will tell if their TNA Wrestling partnership lasts that long, but right now, stars like Jordynne Grace, the Rascalz, and Joe Hendry are stopping by NXT to liven things up.

During the press conference after SummerSlam, Triple H was asked about NXT’s deal with TNA Wrestling and why the partnership started in the first place. Triple H used a lot of tact as he approached his answer, saying that it is mutually beneficial.

“We’re open for business whether that’s what you see in NXT with TNA or that’s different international opportunities. We’re gonna look at what’s best for WWE, but how does that benefit us and how does that benefit them?”

Triple H then admitted that a lot of stars in NXT are young and need opportunities. NXT can only create so many chances for a wrestler to get repetition in the ring, so they have allowed the TNA partnership to give those talents a chance to perform on a different stage.

He said that it is their goal to help improve the future of, not just NXT, but the entire pro wrestling business. The territory days are over where wrestlers are working 100 days a year. Now, the only way to get better at wrestling is to have experience in front of a crowd. That is what they are aiming to do with this partnership between NXT and TNA Wrestling.

It will be interesting to see what happens next in NXT and TNA Wrestling’s partnership. The two sides seem to be generating a lot of attention by trading talent. Only time will tell how long they continue working together, but both sides are certainly seeing a benefit.
