WWE presented SummerSlam at Cleveland Browns Stadium on Saturday, and the main event of the night was action-packed. It also included a major injury scare as Jacob Fatu hit a dangerous move that apparently didn’t land correctly.

Jacob Fatu performed an incredible splash off the top rope to the floor as Cody Rhodes lay across the announce table. After the spot was over, Fatu was visibly angry as he knocked over chairs and cursed. Fans didn’t know whether he was injured for real, but the newest Bloodline member didn’t get back up for the rest of the match.

After Fatu was seen by fans at Cleveland Browns Stadium getting help to the back after the main event, there was fear that his injury was legitimate. Now we have a bit more information about him, and it’s not great.

A video of Jacob Fatu getting around on the morning after SummerSlam has come out. Sadly, he’s not walking without assistance. The Bloodline member is in a walking boot right now, which could point toward a legitimate injury.

We have not heard any specific diagnosis on Jacob Fatu’s injury status. At this time, we’re just crossing our fingers and hoping that he is able to make it back to the ring in a hurry. Jacob Fatu has a ton of potential in WWE, and an injury would certainly put a halt to that momentum.

You can check out the photo below showing off Jacob Fatu in a walking boot. With Roman Reigns’ big return during SummerSlam, it will be interesting to see how WWE handles this situation if Fatu is really injured.
