Finn Balor has seen lot of success during his time in WWE, which is why he is ready to face anyone who steps up to the plate. However, he shocked fans in a big way as he betrayed Damian Priest at SummerSlam. In light of his actions, Finn Balor has now broken his silence on the matter.
At the SummerSlam Premium Live Event, GUNTHER faced Damian Priest for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship in a highly anticipated match. Finn Balor made an appearance ringside midway through the bout to support Priest.
The match concluded with Priest delivering a Razor’s Edge and South of Heaven to GUNTHER. As Priest went for the pin, Balor intervened by placing GUNTHER’s foot on the rope. After seeing the replay, Priest tried to confront Balor, but GUNTHER stopped him. In response, Priest put Balor in a sleeper hold, ultimately winning his first world title in WWE.
Finn Balor took to Twitter and broke his silence following his shocking betrayal, as he made it clear he didn’t regret his decision by stating that he woke up in a good mood after SummerSlam.

JD McDonagh also seemingly left the Judgment Day after the group imploded at SummerSlam. We’ll have to wait to see how WWE will continue The Judgment Day’s storyline after the events at SummerSlam, as it’s becoming clear that a form of civil war within the faction is on the horizon.
