Brandi Rhodes has become an extremely divisive figure in the world of pro wrestling for a multitude of reasons, but she is more focused on what her husband Cody Rhodes does. After the events of SummerSlam, Rhodes has made it clear Roman Reigns isn’t invited to Thanksgiving.
WWE’s 2024 SummerSlam event concluded with a Bloodline Rules match for the Undisputed WWE Title. Cody Rhodes emerged victorious over Solo Sikoa, thanks in part to the intervention of the Original Tribal Chief.
Roman Reigns made his return at SummerSlam, and it appears his focus was on Solo Sikoa. Rather than taking action against Cody Rhodes, Reigns played a crucial role in helping Cody retain the title.
After the events of SummerSlam, Brandi Rhodes took to Twitter and reacted to Roman Reigns assisting Cody Rhodes. Brandi Rhodes stated that Roman Reigns isn’t currently invited to Thanksgiving. She noted that while there’s an open seat, it’s still too early to decide if it will be filled.
”He’s not invited to Thanksgiving. Not yet. There’s an open seat but…too early to fill it right now.”
Last year, Brandi Rhodes had invited Jey Uso to Thanksgiving after he and Cody Rhodes were tag team partners for a while. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes will interact on Friday Night SmackDown, as Cody Rhodes made it clear a rematch with The Tribal Chief has to happen.
