With WrestleMania 40 now in the rearview, WWE fans are eagerly looking forward to the next major event: SummerSlam. As the Premium Live Event is set to take place tonight, a WWE Hall of Famer has confirmed his appearance at the event.
Scheduled for Saturday, August 3rd, at the iconic Cleveland Browns Stadium, SummerSlam promises to deliver high-stakes action. After all, it’s the Biggest Party of the Summer and WWE is ensuring the event lives up to its moniker
While speaking on the Kliq This podcast, Kevin Nash explained that he would be unavailable for a while because he is flying to Cleveland for SummerSlam. This will be his first live show since Paul “Triple H” Levesque took over as boss, making it the first time he hasn’t had Vince McMahon involved, unlike the show in LA.
Nash mentioned that he plans to fully embrace the fan experience at SummerSlam. He hopes to get a picture with Logan Paul and interact with other wrestlers he doesn’t know. He also expressed his intention to go all out and possibly approach GUNTHER during match preparations to ask for a moment of his time.
“I’ll have to be out because the reason we’re doing this show today is that on Thursday, I’m flying to Cleveland for SummerSlam. This will be the first show I’ve attended live since Paul ‘Triple H’ Levesque became the boss, so it will be the first time I haven’t had Vince McMahon sticking his nose into it, unlike the one in LA.
I’m going to SummerSlam and I’m going to fanboy. I’ll see if I can get a picture with Logan Paul and all the guys I don’t know who don’t know me. I’m going to go all out. I don’t really know GUNTHER, so that’s perfect. I’ll wait until they’re putting a match together and then slide over and ask, ‘Excuse me, do you have a minute?’”
We have also reported that WWE Hall of Famers Kane and Rick Steiner are confirmed to be a part of SummerSlam weekend in Cleveland this week, so fans will get ample opportunity to meet them. Therefore, fans are in for a treat at SummerSlam, so we’ll have to see how the event will turn out.
Ringside News will be providing live play-by-play coverage of tonight’s show over in our WWE SummerSlam coverage hub. It promises to be a memorable show for many reasons, so we’ll have to wait and see how the Premium Live Event will turn out.
