Tiffany Stratton made her way onto the SmackDown roster earlier this year, quickly establishing herself as a top star in the women’s division. Prior to that, she was a star in NXT and feuded with Becky Lynch as well. In fact, Stratton has now addressed accusations of being buried by Lynch.

Becky Lynch made her return to the developmental brand last year where it was confirmed she would challenge Tiffany Stratton for the NXT Women’s Championship on NXT.

The Man and NXT’s resident Buff Barbie put on a solid contest, as it could have gone in anyone’s favor. In the end, Big Time Becks was the victor and became the new NXT Women’s Champion at the time. Lynch would also defeat Stratton at NXT No Mercy last year in a solid match as well.

While speaking to Ring the Belle, Tiffany Stratton addressed accusations that Becky Lynch buried her. Tiffany Stratton clarified that Becky Lynch did not bury her, emphasizing Lynch’s status as one of the greatest. Stratton noted that Lynch played a significant role in elevating her in ways that others on the roster couldn’t.

Stratton felt she emerged from their match as a bigger star than she was before No Mercy, and she credited Lynch for pushing her to reach that level. Stratton acknowledged that she owes much to Lynch, who played a key role in developing her persona, Tiffy Time.

“Becky did not bury me, guys, come on. She’s the GOAT, and Becky definitely elevated me in ways that nobody else on the roster could. In that match, I came out more of a superstar than I was before No Mercy. I definitely showed everyone that Tiffy Time can go, and Becky helped me get there. I honestly owe a lot to Becky; she truly made Tiffy Time.”

Tiffany Stratton is currently in possession of the Women’s Money in the Bank briefcase and can easily become a champion if things go her way. No matter what, she will always respect Becky Lynch for what she did for her and that’s all that matters.
