The Judgment Day has firmly established itself as one of WWE’s premier factions since their debut in 2022, achieving numerous milestones. However, they ended up suffering a shocking defeat after SmackDown this week.

After the August 2nd edition of Friday Night SmackDown, fans saw an exciting 8-man tag team match with Rey Mysterio, Jey Uso, The Miz, and R-Truth facing off against The Judgment Day.

The match was lively, with the babyface team having a great time. They spent an extended period dancing to Uso’s theme song, even getting the World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest to join in on the fun with a “Yeet” moment.

The match concluded with Rey Mysterio delivering the 619 to all four members of The Judgment Day. He then pinned Dominik Mysterio to secure the victory for his team. The babyfaces celebrated their win exuberantly, continuing their celebration long after the match ended.

We will have to wait and see whether The Judgment Day will end up breaking apart after SummerSlam this week, as Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan’s Women’s World Title match could certainly ensure that happens.
