Solo Sikoa has been on a tear as the new leader of the Bloodline and they ended up winning the WWE Tag Team Titles on SmackDown this week. Following The Bloodline’s massive win, Solo Sikoa sent a warning to Cody Rhodes.
During the August 2 go-home edition of SmackDown, Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa entered Cleveland as the SmackDown Tag Team Champions, but the Bloodline was intent on taking the titles. The two teams faced off in a championship bout with Jacob Fatu and Tama Tonga. Despite Gargano’s enthusiastic reception from his hometown fans, he and Ciampa fell short.
The Bloodline emerged victorious and now holds the WWE Tag Team Championships. After the win, Solo Sikoa donned the titles and struck a pose for the cameras, signaling a strong momentum shift as they head into SummerSlam.
WWE took to their official Instagram account and uploaded a video of Solo Sikoa and the rest of The Bloodline heading to the back after their title win. Sikoa stated that after getting the tag titles back in the Bloodline, he will bring back the Undisputed WWE Championship to the faction by beating Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam.
”I did what I said I was gonna do, bring the tag titles back to The Bloodline. Tomorrow night, I’ll bring the Undisputed Title back to The Bloodline, where it all belongs.”
The episode kicked off with Solo Sikoa and Cody Rhodes agreeing to make their Undisputed World Title match a Bloodline Rules bout. With Tama Tonga and Jacob Fatu now champions, the match’s dynamics could shift dramatically.
We will have to wait and see whether Cody Rhodes will be able to successfully retain the Undisputed WWE Championship against Solo Sikoa, as he is certainly under a lot of threat thanks to The Bloodline right now.
