Jade Cargill Unbothered by Tony Khan and Shane McMahon’s Meeting

Jade Cargill has been on an impressive run in WWE since debuting in the company, as she is already a former Women’s Tag Team Champion. She is a former AEW star but doesn’t necessarily keep tabs on what AEW does and that’s why she isn’t bothered by Tony Khan and Shane McMahon’s meeting.

Prior to her becoming a WWE Superstar, Jade Cargill was booked as an unstoppable force in AEW as the TBS Champion, where she had an incredible undefeated streak for a very long time. Jade Cargill even stated that she couldn’t have gotten better start than in AEW and that it prepared her for WWE.

On Monday, July 29, 2024, Tony Khan and Shane McMahon had a private meeting at a secluded office at Arlington airport. This encounter has fueled speculation about possible future collaborations between the two. The discussion focused on exploring potential opportunities for partnership and marked their first face-to-face meeting, following Khan’s expressed interest in connecting with McMahon.

While speaking to SportsKeeda’s Bill Apter, Jade Cargill was asked about her thoughts on the recent meeting. Cargill responded by expressing her support for McMahon and Khan but emphasized her focus on WWE. She mentioned that she is excited about what WWE has to offer and is not one to dismiss the achievements of others. She sees their success as creating more opportunities for everyone and stressed that her attention is on WWE and its current projects.

“I mean good for them. I feel like I’m focused here at WWE. I’m excited for what we’re bringing to the table, but at the end of the day there’s a lot of open opportunities and I’m not one to sit back and like shun on anybody. That’s great for him, this means more opportunities for all of us, but I’m more so focused on the WWE bubble and what we got going on here.”

A WWE employee was also not surprised by Jade Cargill and Shane McMahon’s meeting. Ultimately, it remains to be seen if Tony Khan and Shane McMahon will collaborate this year.
