WWE kicked off its biggest Premium Live Event of the Summer, WWE SummerSlam 2024, at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, with a huge WWE Universe in attendance for the show.
The man behind the new regime that has led WWE in the era, WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H, came out to the stadium at the start and gave huge praise to Jelly Roll, who played the official theme song for the event, ‘Liar.’
As the show progressed with jam-packed and action thriller in-ring encounters, The Awesome Truth, R-Truth and the show host, The Miz, came down to the ring right before the main event.
The Miz took pride in announcing that Cleveland Browns Stadium’s SummerSlam attendance was 57,791, second only to the all-time record set by the 1992 edition of SummerSlam in Wembley Stadium.
Following that, Miz and Truth were confronted by Grayson Waller and Austin Theory. But the duo found themselves beaten down by them and Jelly Roll, with the trio executing a 5-Knuckle Shuffle to Theory to end the segment in excitement, as SummerSlam does staggering attendance numbers.
