While speaking to Sportskeeda Wrestling, Bayley was asked about potentially facing AJ Lee again in the future. Bayley made it clear she wants the match and mentioned that she and AJ Lee wrestled against each other for the Divas Championship in 2013, an experience she finds remarkable. That match marked the beginning of their friendship and bond.

Bayley appreciates how their relationship has endured over the years, noting that they still stay in touch and hang out. She believes that this ongoing connection makes it a logical step for them to work together again. Bayley is actively advocating for this and hopes that they can make it happen in the future.

“Yes, um, we did wrestle in 2013 for the Divas Championship, which is crazy to me. I wrestled for the Divas Championship against AJ Lee, and that was really where our friendship and bond grew. She’s so cool to me. I think that because of the history and because we’ve stayed close throughout all these years—it’s pretty nuts that we still text each other and hang out—it only makes sense. I know it’s something I’m pushing for, so I hope one day we can make that come to life.”

Fans are eagerly waiting to see if AJ Lee will make a miraculous return to WWE television. If she does, it will be something not just Bayley wants but CM Punk as well. Only time will tell whether AJ Lee will return to the squared circle somewhere down the line.
