WWE is gearing up for the August 2, 2024 episode of WWE SmackDown that will be taped tonight from the CHI Health Center Omaha in Omaha, Nebraska. Now, we have a spoiler lineup and all the backstage notes you need before the show.

Next week’s SmackDown has a lot in store for fans. The lineup for this week’s show goes as follows:

WWE SmackDown (8/2/24) Spoiler Lineup:

  • Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa are set for a face-to-face confrontation.
  • Andrade will battle Carmelo Hayes.
  • Apollo Crews will face Santos Escobar.
  • Logan Paul will celebrate his homecoming.
  • The Women’s Tag Team titles will be contested as Unholy Union takes on Jade Cargill & Bianca Belair.
  • Expect to see new graphics for SummerSlam.
  • A video package highlighting the feud between Bayley and Nia Jax will be featured.
  • DIY will challenge The Bloodline for the WWE Tag Titles.

WWE SmackDown (8/2/24) Backstage Notes:

  • Je’Von Evans will face Ashante “Thee” Adonis at WWE Speed.
  • Montez Ford is set to take on Austin Theory at the same event. Both matches are produced by Nick Aldis.
  • A dark match featuring Chad Gable vs. Braun Strowman is scheduled, with Jamie Noble as the producer.
  • The team of Apollo Crews and Baron Corbin will continue their partnership.
  • Scheduled appearances include Legado, Nia Jax, and Tiffany Stratton.
  • Dan Engler will officiate the main event.
  • Jason Ayers is assigned to referee the Women’s Tag Title match.
  • CM Punk, along with Liv Morgan and several others, are in town for the Summerslam weekend.
  • WWE also conducted a media day and hosted various local events today.

Other WWE SmackDown (8/2/24) Spoilers:

  • There is no producer listed for the face-to-face between Cody Rhodes and Solo Sikoa, which typically suggests it may not involve physical confrontation.
  • The Bloodline will feature in the opening segment.
  • Andrade versus Carmelo Hayes is scheduled to span three segments.
  • The tag title matches, including DIY vs. The Bloodline, are set for two segments each.
  • The match between Apollo Crews and Santos Escobar is planned for one segment.
