WWE Executive Open to Discussing Ronda Rousey’s Potential Return

Ronda Rousey departed WWE following her match against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam last year. Since leaving, she has been candid about her negative experiences with the company. Despite this, a WWE Executive has expressed openness to the possibility of her returning to WWE.

Earlier this year, Ronda Rousey talked about her WWE experiences, providing major insights into her tenure with the company. She used strong language towards Bruce Prichard and John Laurinaitis, expressing her frustrations by telling them to go ‘f*** themselves.’ Ronda Rousey also alleged that WWE discriminated against women and a lot of other things.

While speaking on the Sports Media with Richard Deitsch podcast, WWE’s Head of Communications Chris Legentil made it clear he was excited about Rousey’s upcoming second child and praised her as a valuable partner in their work.

Legentil noted that WWE is always open to discussing a potential return for Rousey, emphasizing that opportunities and circumstances can change over time, both behind the scenes and on camera. The door remains open for future conversations when the timing is right.

“We saw the news recently about she’s going to be having her second child and we’re super excited for her. We love Ronda. She’s been a great person to work with on a lot of levels.

And, you know, if somebody wants to come back, it’s always a conversation we’re happy to have. I mean, life is very long and, you know, things change both behind the scenes and in front of the camera over time. And we’re definitely open to have conversations when it makes sense.”

For the record, Ronda Rousey made it clear she isn’t interested in returning to WWE anytime soon. Rousey also believes that WWE’s women’s division is much better now that Vince McMahon is no longer in charge. Regardless, we’ll have to see if Rousey ever returns to WWE somewhere down the line.
