Sammy Guevara was serving suspension due to his role in match against Jeff Hardy on February 14th but it was eventually lifted. He returned during last week’s ROH taping and also was present during AEW Collision tapings this week. In that light, we now have spoilers on Guevara’s plans during the taping.

Sammy Guevara recently made his return to the company with an unexpected appearance at the July 28 Ring of Honor TV tapings, where he saved Dustin Rhodes from beatdown by the Dark Order.

During the latest set of tapings for the August 3rd edition of AEW Collision, Dustin Rhodes, Ross Von Erich, and Marshall Von Erich delivered a promo that was interrupted by Sammy Guevara. Guevara expressed his desire to team up with Rhodes.

Therefore, it is quite clear that Guevara will be engaged in a program with Dustin Rhodes for the time being. We have also reported that Guevara turned down AEW’s initial plans for his return. Regardless, we will have to wait and see how Guevara will be booked in the coming weeks, now that he is back for good.
