Ricky Starks has been a standout talent in AEW since 2020, but he’s been noticeably absent from television since late March. Despite his absence from the ring, Starks decided to return to Twitter and addressed MJF and Britt Baker’s controversy.

Starks’ last appearance on AEW television was on the March 30 episode of AEW Collision, where he competed in a tag team title tournament match alongside Big Bill against Top Flight. Since then, Starks has been notably missing from AEW programming.

AEW’s locker room has been under scrutiny this week due to a heated altercation between Britt Baker and MJF, which has captured the attention of fans and industry insiders alike.

The conflict began with comments Britt Baker made about MJF and his girlfriend, Alicia Atout, during the July 17th episode of Dynamite. These remarks were relayed to MJF by Atout, leading to a tense exchange between the two. The situation escalated further when Will Ospreay got involved, trying to mediate by speaking with Baker about the issues at hand.

The tension reached a peak when MJF, frustrated by the ongoing drama, punched a wall backstage, illustrating the intense emotions within AEW’s locker room. Despite the chaos, Britt Baker continued to appear on television. However, an HR investigation into the incident led to a brief suspension for Baker. The investigation also looked into allegations that Baker had verbally attacked Atout and wanted her kick out from the women’s locker room.

Amidst all the controversy, MJF took to Twitter and uploaded a post of himself at CMLL, where he stated that the world is talking about the American Champion’s debut in CMLL. Ricky Starks saw the tweet and responded to MJF by pointing out how everyone is only talking about MJF and Britt Baker’s confrontation. However, he would then delete the tweet.

”The whole world is talking about the American Champion’s debut in CMLL representing our great nation! #ThankMeLater

I think they talking about you and Britt tbh”

When another pro wrestler pointed out how Ricky Starks came back to Twitter again, he stated that he would be deleting the social media platform again soon enough.

”I see you’ve downloaded the app again

I did but I’m about to delete it again!!”

Interestingly, a current WWE employee has noted that Ricky Starks would be perfect fit for their company. Nonetheless, it is not known whether Starks will get into trouble for what he had to say about Britt Baker and MJF, so all fans can do is wait and hope he returns to AEW television eventually.
