Logan Paul has proven his worth reigning as the WWE United States Champion for nearly 270 days now. Heading into SummerSlam, Paul had a homecoming on the August 2 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Arriving in an SUV adorned with the Prime logo and introduced by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, he faced a hostile Cleveland crowd. The Maverick mocked LA Knight, who interrupted and vowed to defeat him at SummerSlam. As he next unveiled his new banner, it had been spoiled by LA Knight, who came out.
After a brief verbal exchange, LA Knight went backstage to find Logan Paul another banner but instead found Paul’s Prime truck and drove off, leaving Paul outraged. The Megastar then took to his X to share a video of him driving the truck and having a good time.
LA Knight promised to return the Prime truck in “wonderful condition” and proclaimed that his reign as the United States Champion would end tomorrow night at SummerSlam.
“Tomorrow I am going to take the US title, but tonight as collateral, a lil joyride in this beauty. We gonna have a good one, hit all the speed bumps, I might dig in a couple of times, don’t worry about it, we’ll have it back to you in wonderful condition. Logan, tomorrow night, US title reign ends and all hell, new US champ with everybody saying L-A Knight, YEAH!”
With The Megastar making his opponent highly frustrated just one night before their title clash, we will have to wait and see if that could play a factor in the outcome of their match at SummerSlam.
