CM Punk Made Surprise Appearance During WWE SummerSlam Tryouts

CM Punk’s return to WWE was a groundbreaking moment that revitalized interest in the company’s storylines and future direction. However, his comeback has been hampered by a triceps injury he sustained at the Royal Rumble, leaving him sidelined and without a match since. He’s set to return to the ring at SummerSlam but it appears he also made a surprise appearance during the SummerSlam tryouts.

As WWE prepares for SummerSlam 2024 at the Cleveland Browns Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio, on Saturday, August 3, fans can look forward to more than just an impressive event. The company has announced that they will also be hosting their annual SummerSlam tryouts.

Anyone could attend the tryouts and that’s why it comes as no surprise that CM Punk was present as well. He took to his Instagram story and uploaded a short boomerang clip of the tryout setup in Cleveland.

Regardless, The Second City Saint is fully focused on his upcoming match against Drew McIntyre at WWE SummerSlam on August 3rd, so we’ll have to wait and see if he will be able to triumph over The Scottish Warrior.
