Brock Lesnar has been noticeably absent from WWE programming since his match against Cody Rhodes at last year’s SummerSlam, sparking widespread speculation about his future with the company.

Lesnar’s plans leading up to WrestleMania 40 were derailed due to his involvement in the Vince McMahon and Janel Grant sex trafficking lawsuit. Meanwhile, glimpses of Lesnar’s personal life have emerged. He was seen attending his son’s hockey game and was also spotted in public with his daughter, Mya Lesnar, and a group of people.

According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Lesnar’s daughter, Mya, faced challenges during the Olympic team qualifying meet and ultimately failed to make the team. In March, as a junior at Colorado State, she won the NCAA Indoor championship with a throw of 60 feet 9.5 inches. She improved her personal best to 62 feet 7.25 inches at the Mountain West Outdoor championship in May, where she also won the hammer throw at 203.5 feet.

“Mya did not have a good Olympic team qualifying meet and failed to make the team. In March, Lesnar, being a junior from Colorado State, won the NCAA Indoor championship with a throw of 60 feet 9.5 inches and in May at the Mountain West Outdoor championship she increased her personal best to 62 feet 7.25 inches and also won the hammer throw at 203.5 feet. She won meets all season in the shot put. She placed second in the NCAA Western Regionals at 61 feet 3.5 inches two weeks later but didn’t compete in the discus or hammer throw. Her best hammer throw would have only been 15th in the NCAA championships and her best discus throw would have been 21st so she wasn’t going to be a contender in anything but the shot put.”

Although she placed second in the NCAA Western Regionals, Mya didn’t compete in the discus or hammer throw. At the NCAA Outdoor championships in early June, she placed fifth with a throw of 57 feet 11.5 inches. At the Olympic team trials on June 30, her best throw was 55 feet and 0.25 inches, placing her 12th and missing the team, whereas her best throw would have placed sixth at the 2021 Olympics.

“In early June at the NCAA outdoor championships she placed fifth with a throw of 57 feet 11.5 inches. The throw she did at Mountain West would have gotten her second place in the NCAA championships and her indoor championships throw would have gotten her third. On 6/30 at the Olympic team tryouts her best throw was 55 feet and 0.25 inches, much shorter than anything she did as a best throw all season. She placed 12th in the Olympic team trials and thus didn’t make the team. Even with her best throw she wouldn’t have made the team. It took a throw of 64 feet to make the team. But her best throw would have been sixth place at the 2021 Olympics.”

While Lesnar’s daughter did not make it to the team, we will have to wait and see if Brock Lesnar ultimately makes his return to WWE. However, that decision will have to come with clearance from WWE’s legal team as revealed in a report, so only the future can tell if The Beast will emerge back or not.
