WWE NXT serves as the training ground for developing the Superstars of the future. Recently, one standout talent in NXT has been receiving strong internal praise, particularly following their performance at NXT Great American Bash.
Kendal Grey, whose real name is Peyton Prussin, is emerging as a rising star in the wrestling world. Grey made her NXT television debut at the Great American Bash. On the July 30 episode, she lost to Jaida Parker but had a notable moment when she tossed Myles Bourne around.
Grey, who has been active on NXT Level Up and the NXT house show circuit since March 2024, has received positive feedback. While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer reported that WWE personnel have expressed high praise for her performance.
“I’ve had people from there (WWE) rave to me about her.”
Grey first attracted WWE’s attention as a notable athlete through the NIL program, leading to her signing a developmental contract with the company in October 2023. Her experience as a collegiate wrestling champion adds a distinctive edge to her wrestling career as she advances in the world of sports entertainment.
We will have to wait and see how Kendal Grey will continue to be booked in the coming months, as the future is certainly bright for the young WWE Superstar already.
