Many people have traveled through the pro wrestling business on their way to a new destination in their careers. Terry Crews may be best known for his many famous roles, but he also had one spot in WCW that many fans may not remember.

Following this, he secured roles in several films, including Serving Sara, Friday After Next, Deliver Us from Eva, and Malibu’s Most Wanted. His versatility as an actor was further showcased in Starsky & Hutch, Soul Plane, and White Chicks. He also starred in Mike Judge’s film Idiocracy. Before his acting career picked up, the Brooklyn Nine-Nine star also had a run in WCW.

In a recently resurfaced interview with Titus O’Neil, Terry Crews opened up about his time in WCW. He didn’t spend a ton of time in the ring, but they certainly were able to pull from clips from his days in Ted Turner’s pro wrestling company.

“We had a co-venture with WCW at the time, and this was back in the old days, and one thing that got me, man was [they showed him on screen in WCW] That was me, that was T Money, that was WCW, yes! That was it right there. I just look back at those deals and that’s where I learned how to really give it up. Here’s another thing, with acting you have to go so far in that everyone believes it. I remember being this character, I was the heavy, I was the heel!”
