Mark Henry is a WWE Hall of Famer, and he brought tons of competitors through the house of pain over the years. Now it is time for the next generation, because his son, Jacob Henry, has inked a deal with WWE. We already knew that Jacob had WWE interest, and now it is official.

During the Remix Rumble event, Mark Henry had a chance to show off his DJ skills. He played some favorites for the crowd, and they were singing along with some of their favorite pro wrestling theme songs. Then Jacob Henry took the microphone and dropped a big announcement.

While chants of “NXT” came from the crowd, Jacob Henry confirmed that he is on his way to WWE. Not only that, but the ink has dried on his contract already, meaning it is a done deal.

“I just want you to be the first to know that I am going to be a Superstar and it’s been put on paper.”

Jacob Henry was a standout athlete in high school, so a jump to WWE makes perfect sense. It also really helped that his father could pull some really big strings to get him to the head of the line. Being Mark Henry’s son may have helped Jacob Henry at first, but it will be up to him very soon.

Mark Henry departed from AEW when his contract ended, so he is a free agent. He is still on Busted Open Radio as well, so we will have to see if a WWE return is in his future. It stands to reason that he may want to have something to do with his son’s WWE journey eventually.
