Giulia’s surprise debut at NXT Stand & Deliver marked a significant milestone in her wrestling career. Despite being sidelined with a wrist injury afterwards, she has recently made her return to the ring. As she prepares to leave Japan this month, her status for upcoming events in Japan has now been revealed.
At the recent Marigold event held at Korakuen Hall, Giulia made a significant announcement. She revealed that August 19th will be her final match in Japan. Giulia shared that she has decided to pursue new challenges in the world of professional wrestling after much reflection. She also disclosed that these upcoming matches will be her last five in Japan, marking the beginning of her countdown to departure.
While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that believes that will be permitted to return to Japan for a few shows each year even after she makes her WWE debut.
Meltzer added that WWE might allow her to participate in major events similar to how IYO SKY appeared at the last Sumo Hall show. Meltzer mentioned that Marigold is considering the idea of Giulia being involved in about four big shows a year, so it’s likely WWE would let her return for two to four shows annually as part of a collaborative arrangement.
“My impression is they’ll allow her to go back for big shows like IYO SKY did on the last Sumo Hall show. “Marigold is looking at the idea of four big shows a year, so I think that maybe WWE would allow her to go back for two, three, four shows a year, something like that. That’s a part of their working together relationship type of thing.”
Giulia also aims to create a revolution after transitioning to WWE. Regardless, with NXT No Mercy set to take place on September 1st, it is likely Giulia will be making her appearance at the Premium Live Event.
