Giulia’s unexpected debut at NXT Stand & Deliver was a major milestone in her wrestling career. Although she was sidelined with a wrist injury afterwards, she has recently returned to the ring. As she prepares to join WWE later this year, it appears she plans to make adjustments to her in-ring style to adapt to her new environment.

During the latest Marigold event at Korakuen Hall, Giulia made a noteworthy declaration about her wrestling career. She announced that August 19th will be her final bout in Japan. Giulia explained that, after considerable thought, she has chosen to seek new opportunities in professional wrestling.

Additionally, she shared that her next five matches in Japan will be her last, starting a countdown to her departure from the Japanese wrestling scene. Afterwards, fans can expect to see her making a full-time transition to NXT.

While speaking on Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer stated that Giulia will need to adjust her in-ring style for WWE. He mentioned that while the NXT fanbase might initially see her as a major superstar, she will ultimately need to adapt her style to fit WWE’s expectations.

Meltzer pointed out that WWE typically prefers a less hard-hitting approach, especially for women, and Giulia’s current style, which is very aggressive, might not align with WWE’s standards.

“In NXT the fanbase will take her as this giant superstar at first but ultimately she’s going to have to tone down her style to do the WWE style. “Sometimes you can kind of pull it off, (but) the thing with her is she’s really hard-hitting and WWE doesn’t really want that really hard-hitting style, especially from women.”

We have also reported Giulia’s status for future events in Japan following her WWE transition. Given that NXT No Mercy is scheduled for September 1st, it’s highly likely that Giulia will make an appearance at the Premium Live Event, so we’ll have to see how her in-ring debut will turn out.
