Drew McIntyre Amps Up SummerSlam Training with CM Punk’s Classic Theme Song

Drew McIntyre has been on a dominant streak for several months, with his ongoing feud with CM Punk intensifying as they continue to exchange verbal jabs and physical confrontations. Recently, McIntyre took to social media to share a workout session where he played Punk’s ROH theme song, further fueling their heated rivalry.

In his ongoing feud with CM Punk, Drew McIntyre has frequently referenced Punk’s tumultuous past, including his controversial time in AEW. As their rivalry reached new heights, Punk announced on the July 22nd episode of WWE Raw that he had been medically cleared to compete. This development set the stage for their much-anticipated match at WWE SummerSlam.

The Scottish Warrior is clearly fully prepared to dismantle CM Punk at the Biggest Party of the Summer. Ahead of the show, Drew McIntyre took to Twitter and uploaded a video of himself performing very heavy shoulder presses with dumbbells.

What is interesting is the fact that he blasted CM Punk’s iconic theme in Ring of Honor, Miseria Cantare. Drew also took it a step further by kissing the bracelet that he stole from CM Punk before winking at the camera.

Drew McIntyre even met up with Jack Perry to further troll CM Punk for good measure. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether The Scottish Warrior will defeat CM Punk at SummerSlam on August 3rd.
