Cody Rhodes dethroned Roman Reigns as the Undisputed Universal Champion and he continues to be the face of the company no matter what. He also has a lot of love for his dog Pharaoh and it appears he is taking his dog on his final WWE road trip due to aging concerns.
Cody Rhodes has been with his wife Brandi Rhodes since 2011 and they were married a few years later. The couple shares a daughter, Liberty Iris, and a beloved white Siberian husky named Pharaoh. Pharaoh has been a part of The Nightmare Family since 2011 and has accompanied Cody throughout his professional wrestling career.
Cody Rhodes took to his Instagram story and revealed that he was taking his beloved husky, Pharaoh, on his final work road trip, as Pharaoh is now 13 years old and starting to slow down. Cody expressed his deep affection for Pharaoh, calling him his most loyal friend and a steadfast presence throughout the years.
Cody Rhodes noted that Pharaoh, while still thriving, prefers to relax at home and keep an eye on their daughter, Libby Curls. Cody Rhodes also mentioned giving Pharaoh plenty of treats and love, reflecting on the special bond they share.
“Pharaoh is 13 now – still thriving but slowing down a bit… I am taking him on his final work road trip. These days he’s more comfortable keeping eyes on Libby Curls and hard napping at the house. All the treats (for dogs and humans), and all the love. He’s been a constant for me and hands down the most loyal friend. Love ya’ buddy!”
Pharaoh also made an appearance on WWE television last year and before that, he was frequently a part of AEW television alongside Cody Rhodes. Regardless, Rhodes decided it’s best for Pharaoh to take it easy and fans will agree with his decision.
