Becky Lynch has established herself as one of the greatest female WWE superstars of all time. The Man, like many other wrestlers, came from humble beginnings. However, her first step in the professional world began with a lie.

In a sneak peek video released by WWE on X for the upcoming A&E Biography: WWE Legends episode, Becky Lynch revealed that she had to lie about her age to enroll in Finn Balor’s wrestling school in Bray, Ireland.

The age limit to join Balor’s school was 16, while Becky Lynch was only 15 at the time. However, The Man proved to be a standout through years of training under the guidance of the current WWE World tag team champion.

“You have to be 16 to join. I was only 15 so I had to lie about my age.”

Becky Lynch was last seen competing for WWE back in May 2024 on Monday Night RAW, where she failed to regain the WWE Women’s World Championship from Liv Morgan inside a Steel Cage.

Shortly after, Becky Lynch became a free agent and is currently navigating life outside WWE. With heavy interest from the wrestling world in acquiring The Man, we will have to wait and see what Lynch eventually decides to do next.
