AEW Collision’s August 3rd episode was pre-recorded on August 1st at the eSports Arena in Arlington, TX. Below are the complete spoilers provided by Matthew Hooks:
Christian Cage and the Patriarchy Promo: Christian awarded Nick Wayne with a trios title, snubbing Killswitch but instead gifting it to Mother Wayne. The House of Black (Buddy Matthews, Malakai Black, & Brody King) then disrupted the presentation. Christian gave Malakai some paternal advice. The Bang Bang Gang (Austin Gunn, Colten Gunn, & Juice Robinson) also appeared, leading to Nick Wayne being left vulnerable to an attack.
Promo by Dustin Rhodes and the Von Erichs: Interrupted by Sammy Guevara, who expressed a desire to team up with Dustin to gain his trust.
Triple Threat Match: Claudio Castagnoli secured a victory over Lee Moriarty (w/ Shane Taylor) and Tomohiro Ishii by pinning Lee.
Mistico and Hologram outclassed the Premier Athletes (Tony Nese and Ariya Daivari) (w/ Mark Sterling).
Chris Jericho delivered a promo in Spanish targeting Mistico.
Backstage Promo by Jeff Jarrett: Jarrett set the stage for a no disqualification match against Bryan Danielson.
Toni Storm battled local talent: The Glamour Mariah May joined commentary, only for Toni to attack her before the match began, which also saw the local talent ambushing Storm.
Kyle Fletcher overcame Brian Cage: Post-match, Fletcher, with Don Callis joining him on commentary, issued a challenge to MJF for the American Title in an eliminator match.
Promo by Top Flight with Leila Gray: Interrupted by MxM (Mace Madden & Mansoor).
Thunder Rosa defeated Taya Valkyrie with Johnny TV by her side. Post-match, Rosa called out Deonna Purazzo, setting up a Texas bull rope match for the following week.
Main Event: Darby Allin, Mark Briscoe, and FTR (Dax Harwood & Cash Wheeler) triumphed over the Undisputed Kingdom (Mike Bennett, Matt Taven, Roderick Strong) and The Beast Mortos.
Post-Match: FTR claimed they are the lifeblood of AEW, which led to an interruption and ensuing brawl with The Acclaimed (Max Caster & Anthony Bowens). Mark Briscoe accused the Elite of trying to divide AEW, and The Acclaimed refused to shake hands with FTR.
This concluded the tapings.
