WWE has soared to new heights in popularity, frequently breaking viewership and attendance records throughout the year 2024. Much of this success is attributed to WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H and his new regime.
In a recent appearance on The Rich Eisen Show, RAW superstar The Miz remarked that he had never witnessed WWE reach such levels of popularity in his twenty-year career with the company.
The Awesome One credited Triple H’s leadership for completely transforming the shows and providing major opportunities to talent that have provided evident results. The Miz also noted the unprecedented number of superstars who are currently “over” with the fans.
“We’re always evolving as WWE superstars. Whether you’re a superstar or a company as a whole, our goal is to ensure that the audience gets what they need. We strive to deliver the best entertainment possible, and right now, the locker room is brimming with positivity. Triple H has truly taken the reins and transformed the show. He’s provided opportunities to individuals who may not have had them before, and the results are evident. In my twenty-year career, I’ve never seen WWE so popular. There are so many superstars who are over—when they come out, the crowd goes ecstatic, whether they’re booing or cheering. The level of fan engagement is extraordinary. Currently, it’s incredibly difficult to secure a spot on a SummerSlam card or any Premium Live Event because the competition is so fierce.”
While The Miz mentioned that it is indeed difficult to secure a spot at major shows like SummerSlam due to fierce competition, he has secured an important role for SummerSlam this week being named the official host.
Moreover, with Triple H’s regime already producing an array of highly successful PLEs in recent months, it can be expected that WWE SummerSlam would also break multiple records and prove to be a blockbuster show.
