Nic Nemeth Sets Sights on AJ Styles for TNA Title Match

Nic Nemeth, formerly known as Dolph Ziggler, was released from WWE in September, surprising many fans. Since then, he has flourished in the wrestling world, capturing the TNA World Championship. It looks like he’s now aiming for a match against AJ Styles for the title.

During TNA Wrestling’s Slammiversary pay-per-view, Moose defended his title against Josh Alexander, Steve Maclin, Nic Nemeth, Frankie Kazarian, and Joe Hendry. The odds were heavily stacked against Moose and there was no telling who would come out on top.

The closing moments of the match saw Nic Nemeth and Frankie Kazarian face each other to crown a new TNA World Champion. In the end, Nic Nemeth hit a superkick and a Danger Zone to win the match, and thus he was crowned the new TNA World Champion.

Nic Nemeth took to Twitter and commented on a post made by TNA, asking fans who Nemeth should defend his TNA World Championship against. Nemeth responded to the tweet by using a GIF of AJ Styles, making his intentions clear.

AJ Styles also previously made it clear he would be open to returning to TNA Wrestling. Therefore, we will have to wait and see if AJ Styles and Nic Nemeth will square off against each other in the future in TNA.
