Mercedes Moné Targets Britt Baker’s ‘Obsession’ In Promo During 7/31 AEW Dynamite

AEW Forbidden Door was supposed to be a massive moment for Mercedes Moné as she became a double champion, but Britt Baker’s return spoiled her moment. The CEO was on hand for the July 31 episode of AEW Dynamite, and she stole the spotlight as usual.

AEW TBS Champion And NJPW Strong Women’s Champion “The CEO” Mercedes Moné was on hand for Kamille’s match this week. That marked Kamille’s first AEW singles match after her signing with the company, and she was put in a match that she easily won against an enhancement talent.

After the match, Mercedes grabbed the microphone to cut a promo. She welcomed Kamille as the “newest member to money corporation.” Then Mercedes called out Britt Baker for being “obsessed” with her. She also doesn’t blame her for being obsessed, but that doesn’t change the fact that Baker is currently suspended thanks to The Young Bucks. Mercedes said that AEW is her house now, and she’s about to turn it into a mansion, “because that’s how I roll.”

Mercedes Moné made headlines a while ago when she was spotted having a conversation with Shane McMahon. A few weeks later, McMahon and Tony Khan had their own airport meeting. We will have to see what the future holds for everyone involved.
