WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle has achieved a great deal throughout his WWE career, making a remarkable impact during his rookie year and establishing himself as a legend in the business. Beyond professional wrestling, Angle has skills in other areas as well. He will be stepping into the role of referee for an upcoming celebrity boxing match.
The WWE Hall of Famer made a name for himself not only in pro wrestling but also by winning a gold medal at the Olympics before his wrestling career began. His contributions to the business are unparalleled, earning him immense respect from both fans and peers.
Kurt Angle will don a referee shirt once again for a fight this December. The WWE Hall of Famer announced on his Instagram that he will be officiating the bout between Joe Giudice and Antonio Sabato Jr. on December 7th.
Angle will officiate the bout between Joe Giudice, known from “The Real Housewives of New Jersey,” and Antonio Sabato Jr., who gained fame as a Calvin Klein model and actor on “General Hospital” in the 1990s. This event is part of the ongoing trend of celebrities stepping into the ring for pay-per-view matches. Angle shared the news on Instagram by promoting the event as “The Battle of the Italian TV Stars” and provided details on where fans can purchase tickets.
“Hey, this is Kurt Angle, I just signed on with Official Celebrity Boxing to referee in The Battle of the Italian TV Stars, Antonio Sabato Jr. and Joe Giudice in the Bahamas December 7.”
Kurt Angle also recently secured a voice acting gig for good measure. Kurt Angle is also still under contract with WWE. Nonetheless, we’ll have to see how Angle will perform in his role as a referee again this year.
